1. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your business name, email address, and a hashed password. When a visitor submits a booking or order through your public page, we collect the information they provide (name, email, phone, and any notes). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to operate Otter Atlas, send transactional emails (booking confirmations, order updates, verification codes), process payments via Stripe, and respond to support requests.

3. Cookies

We use a single functional cookie to remember your language preference. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

4. Third-party services

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's use of your payment information is governed by their own privacy policy. Business assets (icons, banners) are stored in our database storage. We do not integrate advertising networks or social tracking pixels.

5. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Booking and order records may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion for legal and billing purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Otter Atlas after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

8. Advertising measurement

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether visitors who click our ads go on to create an account. This tag does not display ads to you - it only records conversions to help us understand campaign effectiveness. Data is processed by Google under their privacy policy. You can opt out of Google's advertising measurement at any time at adssettings.google.com.
